Scribner, a proud member of Tree City USA, is celebrating a recent achievement made possible through collaborative efforts. The Nebraska Forest Service, in conjunction with the Nebraska Statewide Arboretum and Great Plains Nursery, has generously awarded Scribner with ten trees, marking a significant step in promoting the value of healthy trees for a thriving community. 🌳
This commendable initiative is closely linked to Scribner’s ongoing Water Treatment Plant Beautification project, underlining the city’s commitment to enhancing its green spaces.
As part of the ‘Ten Free Tree Initiative,’ Scribner successfully planted a total of ten trees – eight at the Scribner Water Treatment Plant and two at the Hunt’s Family Sport Complex. This project not only adds to the city’s environmental credentials but also contributes to its reputation as a Tree City USA member.
Scribner, its partners, and its dedicated citizens are embracing the importance of trees in creating a healthier and more vibrant community for all to enjoy.
